Nasi Tomato

老公超爱吃 Nasi Tomato。可是我就不爱吃。 我觉得味道怪怪的。但为了他的要求,我也要学煮。

上网找了recipe。可是不懂它的材料是什么东东。 又上网在找找看。懂了材料又不知要在哪里买。所以呢,就叫我Office Boy 去买。毕竟它是印度人。他知道要在那里才可以买得到。

昨天我和老公就再加自己煮了Nasi Kandar。老公负责煮咖哩鸡我就负责煮Nasi Tomato。 可是我的Nasi Tomato 就有点红。可能是我放Tomato Purree 太多了吧!

Nasi Tomato

Ingredients:

2 large tomatoes made into a thick puree.
1 cup basmati rice, washed and soaked for ten minutes
1 whole black cardamom (bari ilaichi)
1 tsp red chili powder (lal mirch )Salt to taste1 tsp garam masala powder.
1 tblsp ghee2 cup water



Preparation:

Heat ghee in a heavy bottom vessel
Put in the whole black cardamom and then the tomato puree.
Now add the dry spices, salt and saute.
Put in the rice and mix well.
Finally add the water and cook covered till done.
Seve hot.
